Were you wondering about the professionals’ secret to creating the most delicious desserts? We bring it up in this step-by-step guide of How to Make Whipped Cream with Whipped Cream Cartridges.
Nitrous Oxide in Whipped Cream making
Nitrous oxide is not only a regular gas. It determines a lot for the cream’s flavor, texture, and longevity. To illustrate, by combining nitrous oxide with a whipped cream siphon, you can have delicious, creamy whipped cream made in just a few minutes.
We’ve listed the steps below to learn how you use Whipped Cream Cartridges to make Whipped Cream.
- Identify the parts of your cream siphon.
- Remove the head from your siphon.
- Pour the exact amount of cream that matches the size of the bottle (don’t overfill it!), along with the sweetener or powdered sugar to taste, and reattach the head.
- Locate the whipped cream cartridge in the charge deposit located in the head of the siphon.
- Screw the cartridge holder and make sure the capsule is open.
- Shake the siphon about three times so that the nitrous oxide distributes well through the cream or mixture in the bottle. Do not shake too much, do it gently.
- Turn the siphon upside down, squeeze the handle to release the cream with pressure from the nitrous oxide gas, and make beautiful desserts.
If, instead of using a Whipped Cream Cartridge, you decide to use a Cream Charger like Fast Gas to fill in your siphon, check out the following step-by-step.

- Locate the N2O cartridge holder and unscrew it.
- Connect the pressure regulator to the dispenser valve.
- Connect one side of the hose to the regulator and the other side to the canister deposit of the kitchen siphon that you did unscrew.
- Make sure both sides of the connected hose are well-tightened.
- Open the pressure regulator valve to release the gas through the hose and let the air sit in the mixture already poured and agitated in the cooking siphon.
- Turn the siphon upside down, squeeze the handle to release the cream with pressure from the nitrous oxide gas, and make beautiful desserts.
This way, the whipped cream will be more delicious and come in significant amounts, 1.5 liters to be more precise. Likewise, you can have more control over the nitrous oxide gas supply.
